Now Dave has completed the engine work. We were striving to have "Bugly" ready for competition at the Swap Meet and Show in Lansing, MI on February 28, 1999.

We finished it in just a nick of time and entered the competition.  We were happy to win an award for "Best Engineered."  Dan Baudoux will be very proud to learn of that award, he did a superb job of building the car.

We are very proud of that award and thank everyone who has helped put Bugly together.   Since the show, we had a convertible top made and are completing the wiring.  Now it is a couple years later and Bugly is completely finished - WHEW!

But, not to jump the gun...

Here's what happened as we were getting ready fo the Swap Meet.  About  ten days before the Swap Meet/Show, we were waiting on the transmission to come back from Carter's Gear Box in California.  Once it arrived, the rest went together smoothly,
