We attended in March, 2002 the VW Trade Show once again in Lansing, MI and decided to enter our sand rail "Time Bomb" for competition. Even though the rail is now six years old, and has gotten many miles of pounding sand logged on it, we still took:
First Place
for Best Engine
This is why! Isn't it beautiful. This sand rail is a beautiful machine once you dust off all the sand!
